Quando un comprensorio pubblica i chilometri di piste aperte, quella quota vale il 12% e gli altri fattori si riducono in proporzione (oggi non lo pubblica nessuno). L'affollamento era previsto dalla formula, ma nessun comprensorio ha il dato: non entra nel calcolo, e i pesi qui sopra lo tengono già fuori.
When a ski area publishes its open slope kilometres, that share counts for 12% and the other factors shrink in proportion (today nobody publishes it). Crowding was planned in the formula, but no ski area has the data: it is not in the calculation, and the weights above already leave it out.
Neve. Neve fresca delle ultime 24 ore × 1,6, più quella delle 72 ore × 0,5, più lo spessore al suolo × 0,18, su 100.
Snow. Fresh snow in the last 24 hours × 1.6, plus the last 72 hours × 0.5, plus snow depth × 0.18, out of 100.
Meteo. Il cielo vale per il 70% (sole 1, variabile 0,72, nevicata 0,55), il vento per il 30% (pieno a zero, nullo a 40 km/h). Se il vento non si conosce, il meteo è il cielo e basta: non lo si immagina.
Weather. The sky counts for 70% (sun 1, variable 0.72, snowfall 0.55), wind for 30% (full at zero, nothing at 40 km/h). If the wind is unknown, weather is the sky alone: it is not guessed.
Prezzo. Lo skipass giornaliero: 45 € o meno vale pieno, 85 € o più vale zero, in mezzo in proporzione.
Price. The daily ski pass: €45 or less scores full, €85 or more scores zero, in proportion in between.
Bonus della modalità. Pista premia i chilometri e gli impianti totali (fino a 15 punti), Freeride la neve delle 72 ore e la quota della cima (fino a 15), Fresca la neve delle 24 ore (fino a 20). Un dato che manca non dà bonus.
Mode bonus. Piste rewards total kilometres and lifts (up to 15 points), Freeride 72-hour snow and summit altitude (up to 15), Powder 24-hour snow (up to 20). Missing data gives no bonus.
Valanghe. In Freeride e Fresca il grado di pericolo del bollettino ufficiale toglie punti: 4 per grado sopra l’1 in Freeride, 2,5 in Fresca. Un bollettino scaduto non si usa.
Avalanches. In Freeride and Powder the official danger level takes points off: 4 per level above 1 in Freeride, 2.5 in Powder. An expired bulletin is not used.
L'Indice è la qualità del comprensorio oggi, e vale per tutti. Il Match è l'Indice meno 5 punti per ogni ora di viaggio dalla tua città, ed è quello che ordina la classifica. Le ore sono stimate: distanza in linea d'aria × 1,45, a 78 km/h di media. Con 5 punti l'ora, un comprensorio a 1 ora con Indice 60 vale quanto uno a 3 ore con Indice 70. Quando il Match va sotto zero non si mostra un numero: si scrive «troppo lontano per oggi».
The Index is the quality of a ski area today, and it holds for everyone. The Match is the Index minus 5 points for every hour of travel from your city, and it is what orders the ranking. Hours are estimated: straight-line distance × 1.45, at 78 km/h on average. At 5 points an hour, a ski area 1 hour away with Index 60 is worth the same as one 3 hours away with Index 70. When the Match drops below zero no number is shown: it says «too far for today».

Neve e meteo vengono da un modello, alla quota della cima, non da una misura. Lo spessore al suolo è misurato solo dove un comprensorio lo pubblica in un formato aperto; altrove è la stima del modello, e l'app lo scrive. Date di stagione: 76 confermate, 80 stimate.
Snow and weather come from a model, at summit altitude, not from a measurement. Snow depth is measured only where a ski area publishes it in an open format; elsewhere it is the model's estimate, and the app says so. Season dates: 76 confirmed, 80 estimated.
